My '97 TJ with 160k miles is running like crap all of a suddent. Once in a while it feels like it's not getting any gas and wants to stall out, but then picks back up. Also, the exhaust is noticeably... "dirtier?" I used to drive all the time with the rear window off, now it chokes me at stop lights.
I hooked it up an OBD2 reader. While idling warm @ ~750, I get the following readings:
- Fuel Trim Bank 1, Sensor 1: Min=0, Max=3.91%, Avg=1.27%
- Fuel Trim Bank 1, Sensor 2: Constant at 99.22%
- O2 Sensor Bank 1, Sensor 1: Min=0.08V, Max=0.82V, Avg=0.48V
- O2 Sensor Bank 1, Sensor 2: Min=0.94V, Max=1.16V, Avg=1.12V
Do these numbers look good? Whatever it is, it's not bad enough to throw any codes at me, but is bad enough to annoy me. Probably getting bad mileage, but let's be honest, it's a Jeep.
