Installing Optima Yellowtop

I haven't tried it yet.

Anything I should know....or is it a straight forward install?

Can I use the bar that is currently over the stock battery, or is there anoyher way of securing it?

Thanks

I put mine in a coule weeks ago, and its pretty straight forward. You shouldn't have any problems with it, and optima yellow top batteries is one of the best on the market if your gonna run a rig with many different options, stereo/rock lights/winch/etc. Good luck!

Straight forward install. Black to - and Red to +

Use the stock bar to secure it and make sure the nut on the battery cable is tight. Dont torque the lift out of it, but make sure its snug.

When/If you install your battery and if your other battery has been removed for a while your TJ might start up and act a bit funny its because your computer has lost power. Start it up and let it run and it will possilby die and start it again. It re-learn everything and run smooth again.

Install just like the others said. Oh, don't forget to wipe the yellow top occasionally when you open the hood to keep that bright yellow look.
