Installed the 8.8

She rolls.

What an easy install. I just need an adjustable trackbar and some adjustable lower control arms and we are good to go. I took it down the driveway and the 4.88's are a nice upgrade from 3.07's.

Wow, looks good. Cant believe you were running 35's with 3.07's. Those lower shock mounts seem a little vulnerable though.

True but driving around on the highway with 25,000 other people doing nothing different from everyone else is a lot different than sitting at a keyboard and flaming thousands of people who would love to track you down and beat you down because you embarrassed them.

Thanks! I tacked the brackets on with my 90am wire gun and had a local welder come over and burn them in with his big rig. The shocks are RE Monotubes.

Yeah, I was going to move the brackets up, however, I don't want to buy new rear shocks. I can always move them if I need to.

Ehh, not really a big hairy deal, but can you go wrong by NOT posting it on a forum? I don't post pictures of my kids on the internet either.

You can move the shock mounts both upwards and outwards.

Moving them out helps get back the distance you lose by moving them up. It also improves the ride.

How did you get the sway bar to fit around the pumpkin? I totally forgot about this and now I'm trying to figure out a way to get the sway bar back on w/o taking the axle back out!

Did the Dana 35 explode or could you just not wait any more on the 4.88s?
