Decided to permanently remove the back seat and the seatbelts went with them.
After about 30 minutes of measuring, I cut a square, and then cut out the squares in the corners for the seat belts. I made sure that the driver and passenger edges when up under the rail about half an inch. also cut out the little rectangle for the rear door black box that is behind the handle.
Then stapled carpet to it.
Then measured for the legs, little ones under the tub rails and two big ones under the middle.
The finally, made little blocks and put them in the corners that were exposed from the roll bar, and this left the rear holes open to attach the hardtop.
10 foot long 2x4
3/4 inch thick sheet of plywood, pressure treated.
+carpet @ 15 bucks
= total of 45 bucks. pretty good deal.
Just thought i'd share.
I still need to figure out what im going to do to keep intruders from getting in from behind the seats...
Made a back wall to it
I just did: measure, measure, cut, measure, measure cut, ......
