Idle Air Control

I read in another post that you can remove and clean the Idle air control. I searched this in the posts but found "almost" nothing -Is it easy to clean the idle air control motor - what would you suggest you clean it with? I know some things are not supposed to be cleaned. Any tips for removing it and what should I look for?

Pull it off and blast it with Throttle Body cleaner. Worked pretty good for me. Try cleaning up the whole throttle body to just use liberal amounts and just soak the crap out of it and don't be afraid to get to much on there.
