Identify the noise?

Can anyone identify what is causing this noise? It sounds like someone is choking a cat. The fuel pump was replaced less than a year ago. Alternator was replace 3 months ago. I know the '05-'06 TJs suffer from the dreaded OPDA issue. I do have the upgraded Crown unit, just haven't installed it yet. Thoughts?

Thanks!

I don't really hear much of anything in your video.
But from your description, it may be a good idea to take your belt off and check all of your pulleys to see if any of them are sloppy or feel rough when turned.

Does it change when you push in the clutch? Or turn on-off the defrost/AC?

It sounds like bearing noise to me...

It does go away when I put it into drive. Returns a little when I'm at idle. U think its the idler pulley?

Your video is only from the outside of the Jeep.

Pop the hood.

If the noise is a belt driven accessory it should be obvious which one.

If it is not, move around the engine bay to hear where it is coming from.

I have the doors and top off...even with the hood open, it sounds louder in the cab.
