I have a 4" SkyJacker Value Flex Sus lift now. DO not know the shock lenght that is on the jeep. I want to run 35's by throwing a 1.5-2" budget boost on it. Do I need to get longer shocks that whats working with the 4" sus lift? I have a 30 front that I see can be built up and a 44 rear, I just need to get the 3.73's out for 4.88's. Thanks for any info

Thanks for the help

This was very helpful to me, as I am new to the Jeep world and I am making a wish list of upgrades now.

You should be able to just install a 1-1.25" body lift and call it good. That is plenty for 35s. Much simpler and cheaper too.

Since a body lift just raises the body off of the frame, the shocks are not being extended. Now, a higher suspension lift would need longer springs.

I need to buy a body lift and mml and lopro mount but thats a lot of change. After running 3 sets of 33's on my jeep I am tired of that tire size and it looks dinky. I need 35's but alas my axles. Adjustable cas needed as well.

Anyone think I can sneak 36 x 12.50's x 15 when I add my 1" bl? Trying to price new wheels and tires cheaper, but hit a rock head first! I was gonna get another set of 16's , switch out my winter/mud wheels and throw swampers on them but cant find a pair I like. So I been looking for 35x12.50x15 swampers and cant really find a "nice wheel" if I want to clean it up for a cruise, then in 1/10th of a second "its a jeep, F nice" Looking at another set of Black Rocks on 36x12.50x15 swampers, thus leaving my winters on 16's and narrow like I like, and summers on 15 with more sidewall and no worries of hurting hurting rims or time cleaning. But what do I do about a sutiable spare( just to get out?) I have a bare 33x12.50x.15 on a stock wheel, would that work? I just hate the spare not matching. **** I sound like a woman looking at shoes! My jeep is my baby

Before you go jumping tire sizes to 36 from 35, I'd heavily research the ACTUAL height of whatever 35s you were looking at. Some 35s measure in at 34, as some 36s I'm sure measure at 35. All a matter of the tire mfgr's devotion to truth in advertising. Just my
