That's a great solution for soft windows. I just got soft doors and as a smoker, the windows are a PITA! I was looking at the contraption on Qtec, but it seems like a lot of money for a piece of elastic.

I was going to try to come up with something this weekend, but now I don't have to...thanks.

Power distribution, fuse block, and relay set up

I made this to wire up my offroad light, back up lights, and other acc. that may come in the future. The first part of the write up is up on my build thread in my signature.

Here are some pics:

Is that 18ga or 12ga? It looks like your block is pretty small, why would you not just get a terminal block instead? It would keep the whole block from being a open positive. Are you going to enclose it? Neat Idea

Sorry, I should have explained more. The black main power wire is 6 AWG and the green wires feeding the fuse block and relays are 10 AWG, all oil resistant. I'm mounting this on top of the air box so it is out of the way and no more exposed than the top of the battery posts, but just to be safe, once it is installed I'm going to paint it with that liquid electrical tape.

I had a heck of a time trying to find a 6 AWG powered terminal block that had 10 AWG leaving it. Probably an overkill...but no one ever complains "this is a bunch of crap, this is way to strong and over built, I got screwed." Plus I had a previous wiring harness for OR lights melt when a fuse failed to fail and melted all the 12 AWG wire I used.

Thanks for the questions, sorry for the confusion.
