Could you drill a hole yourself and leave the original hole alone? Just a thought.

I'm considering making one of these too. How did you bolt it down, have any pics of the mounting system??

Sometimes the things that may or may not be true are the things a man needs to believe in the most. That people are basically good; that honor, courage, and virtue mean everything; that power and money mean nothing; that good always triumphs over evil, that true love never dies. Doesn't matter if it's true or not. You see, a man should believe in those things, because those are the things worth believing in.

i did it a few days ago, but i built a gas inlet door. i used a frying pan, a hinge, and a cabinet door popper. now i can just push the door to pop it open, then push it back and it clicks shut. sorry, my camera bit the dust so no pictures. take my word for it, It's AWESOME!!!

Wow looking through the various posts on here I see there are some very imaginative people on here. I just hope one day my little jeep will be as good looking as some of the ones on these posts.

Marc I do believe I will be stealing your idea in the next few weeks and making a storage area in mine as well. It should come in handy especially during the summer months with no top! Great idea.

Puppy Deck

RE POST 384:

Nice work on your trunk/puppy deck. I had to do the same thing but no holes for mine and padded the deck for my three dogs to chill out in the back.
