Home made speaker pods. $20 worth of PVC and paint from lowes and $25 speakers. Just glued them in and zip tied them to the roll bar. Grille inserts for $30 and took some scrap gutter guard and expoxyed them in and painted. $4 kill switch for my subs. And $18 gun rack from Walmart and couple scrap screws.

I would hate to see someone else go through what followed.
Thanks for the heads up man.

Made some quick disconnect mud flaps (req'd here in Utah)... Man having access to a mill sure makes things easier!

Merry Christmas everyone!

These are just like the $170 Gen-Right mud flaps that I have been eyeballing. How much did everything cost?

That looks good but I would have build a ramp for my lab to use to get up there. He is old and fat.

With 20 years in the US Navy, and nine+ years underwater on Nuc Subs.

And they wonder why I am the way I am!!!!!!

my lab is under a year and only 60 pounds so it works well.

A ramp would be a cool idea though, might ponder how it could work

Probably all been done before but I made a little T-Block out of UHMW to let me tighten up my winch cable and keep it from rattling around. IT just slips in the eye and tighten up the winch a bit. It keeps the hook held in position

I also made some gaskets for my D-Rings to keep them tight and quiet as well. I used some sheet rubber I had a little thicker than an inner tube. Just put them in place and slide the D-ring over them and put in the pin. I was going to use O-rings but decided after the first attempt there had to be a better way. I also wrapped the Pin in electrical tape, which will wear off with a little use but is easy enough to change.
