Taking CNC Machining . Made these in class one day. The rubber is cut from the plugs you find in a little John Boat. Center punched the sides to add a litle flare. Small hole drilled all the way through where i put a allen head bolt through it with some washers. It looks great and is still very funtional.

Why 2 holes on each end of the base plate?

Theres only 2 holes on the 1 end. Its because after my second time of drilling the holes in the wrong spot, I gave up. My rule should be measure 15 times, cut once.

That's a really nice looking bumper. I want a ft bumper very much like that. Stubby, winch hoop, d-rings... good stuff

Was that a kit or build-off a manufacturer bumper or did you build that from purely raw materials? I'd love to see some building pics as it came other.

if you look back on page 158 of this thread you will see some. I built it from scratch and tried to make it look like the rockmen bumper.

Well, after being away from the site for a while, I just got caught up on this thread. Lots of talent. Some ghetto rigging, but for the most part, lots of talent. Great job, guys!

Seems like a bad idea for COG... unless maybe your spare is trading places with some really heavy gear you normally have up there.
