Honestly I'd trust the factory tank before an aluminum fuel cell. Those plastic tanks are damn near impossible to break.

I've seen countless fuel cells fallen off, burst open, ripped entirely off their mounting brackets etc. I've never seen a hole in a stock tank yet. Dented to the point that it causes weird fuel gauge readings yes, but not entirely failed.

As far as fume go, if/when I feel like running a full soft top I'll probably extend the breather to outside the vehicle and it should be good to go.

Onto my read bumper I more-or-less made:

I did have Eddie/BESRK cut holes for and weld in the hitch and 1x3" D-ring shackle mounts as I don't have a plasma cutted to make quick work of that. I got a Rokmen bumper mounting kit and did that myself. Still need to put the spring shackle hangers on the bumper.

Yeah, so I have run the search, read many threads and haven't really found what I'm looking for. Thanks for the idea though.

BTW I have looked through this thread and I am not the first to ask for some insight on a particular project.

I forgot about this thread.

I posted this a few weeks back in TJ Tech, but here it goes again.

My 20mm ammo can center console.

I was so totally going to do that cnsole after seeing your write up. But, my fiance totally hated the idea. I feel I should consider her input since she does actually help me work on the Jeep all the time.

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfunction or uninstall themselves at any time.

You didn't search very hard.... http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f37/rear-bumper-w-swingout-tire-carrier-follow-along-101332/ . BESRK has stated countless times in there where he gets all of his parts.
