just thought it would be a neat idea if someone could start a thread with only pics and info on home mods. write-ups wouldn't have to be included but a link to one would be nice if it is available. if someone likes the idea, start it up!

cb and light w/ a web look
still not done on the bumper yet but so far it works great
I'd love to know exactly what parts you used, where to get them and how you put it all together! That looks awesome and side-markers are severely lacking on Wranglers (I've realized that if someone is in your blind spot, they are also blind to the front fender side-marker).cheesycook said:Side halo blinker. Basically a two wire LED blinker with a cheap knock off trail rated badge stuck over the top.
I am with you brother.......I have no skills when it comes to fab work....VTECZILLA said:The only thing I have Made is Payments
Holy hell, you did all that fab work but couldn't at least mount up some angle iron for the rockers?Jeepinty said:I made a new back end and cage.

That looks saweet. All that storage space....would be nice. And nice departure angle.TJJEEPER said:I built a hitch hauler for mine.
Yeah , best one I have ever seen. All of the others I've seen are straight out, hitch level and always dragging on everything. Does it also secure to the spare for stability?JEEP97TJ said:That looks saweet. All that storage space....would be nice. And nice departure angle.
No, it barely touches the spare. The spare was a 31/10.50 when I built it, when I up'd it to a 33" I had to slide it out and redrill the pin hole. When I mount the box on it, I secure it to the bumper with ratchet straps to stabilize it a little more. It fits pretty tight anyway, I ran beads of weld down the side of the tubing and ground down to a tight fit in the receiver. Four of us have traveled to Camp Jeep 02 in Branson, and CJ 03 in Virginia and on to Va Beach for a week in it. Told the kids to pack light, but we had room for all our luggage. Had to buy the large duffel, to lash to the top, at CJ 03 to get all our souvenirs home. Couldn't drive at night, the lights pointed too high. :2thumbsup:ScottD06X said:Yeah , best one I have ever seen.
