I lost my key

Hello, I lost the key to my 2002 Jeep TJ last night. I have the valet key but it doesn't unlock the doors. I'm not sure what I should do

Valet key should unlock the doors so the valet can lock your car and unlock it to return it to you. Every valet key I've had has operated everything except the glove box (on a sports car, it also reduced the engine performance).

If you have a soft top, you can just unzip the back and crawl in. On a hard top, there is a way to pry the rear window open, but I don't have one so I can't really help you.

I didn't know there was a "valet" key option with our TJs. And I agree with above, valet should open doors, just not protected areas, glove box, trunk, etc.

Should just be a regular spare key. No "valet" option that I know of.

you should be able to go to any dealer with your i.d. and your registration and get a key. with my integras i had before, i would always go to the honda dealer and get honda keys made. 4 per car. the dealer keeps it in a database

Ditto. Zip-tied to the frame, out of sight and protected.
