I have $2500 to spend..... what should I buy?

Well just like the title says I have $2500 to spend and would like to see what everyone thinks I should start with.
What I have is a bone stock 2004 TJ Rubicon. Hardtop/soft top. I already bought BESRKs rear bumper and tire carrier. It has stock wheels with road tires on them (thats was the dealer put on them)
The Jeep will be used on road as well as light/med. off road.
What I would like to work towards is 3-4 in lift with 33's.
Im thinking
-3" BDS suspension
-5 Mickey Thompson 33X12.50R15 MT MTZ ON
-15X8 BLACK "D" WINDOW WHEELs
that itself is almost $2000.
Tell me what everyone thinks.
Thanks for the help!!!

Your plans sound perfect. Add a BL and MML just for the little extra clearance and boost I say.

Then with the extra, I'd invest in a good set of brakes and some aftermarket sound equipment.

The dealer put on brand new brakes and rotors before I bought them. will prob. run them for a while then get bigger and better after market ones later.

maybe a front sway bar disconnect kit, or an aussie locker in your front dana 30 if you have some extra after those mods. Also the sound system like Dustin said.

I have the Dana 44 (216 mm) in the front. (stock on the Rubi)
Not too big on the Sound System.
so far options look like
BL, MML, or front sway bar disconnect kit?
Anyone else????

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f127/...xtras-1126078/ everything you need for lift right here with 1500 left over minus some for shipping so say 150 to ship (just guessing on that number) so 1350 left to play with to find rims you will need 15's for those 33s with the deal.
http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f125/index3.html here are some wheels $100 1250 left. 100 for mount and balance 1150

https://www.shopatron.com/products/p...89.32360.0.0.0 body lift $121 1029 left

http://www.quadratec.com/products/12022_904_07.htm armor $140

http://www.quadratec.com/products/92023_102.htm more armor $60

http://www.quadratec.com/products/92122_1000_07.htm recovery $300

http://www.4xshaft.com/index.html driveshaft $300 (1310)

229 left for beer for a great install party

Your plan sounds pretty good.

Me, I would probably make or get some good control arms (Currie), front trackbar, maybe rear trackbar or bracket, some 3 inch springs, good shocks, SYE and d-shaft, and the wheels and tires. Should be just around your $2500 and then you'll have a solid, well-riding suspension with proper alignment to build the rest of the Jeep around. Add the smaller items like bumpers, disconnects and armor as money and time allows.

I personally wouldn't waste money on steel wheels. Been there done that, just get aluminum the first time.

Currie Steering, anti-rock, steering box skid, rock sliders, corner guards, recovery gear, winch.

Stock Rubicon will wheel great and surprise a lot of people. All the parts listed can be considered an investment because they will stay even if your lift and tire package changes.
