I gots the shakes!

And no I am not talking about DW.

This has been going on for a while but today it really stood out.

After a decently long road trip going say 30-60 miles at 60-70mph, when I come to a stop at a light or something the Jeep will start to shake. Its never been bad enough for me to be like "oh my god i must have this looked at" but today it started to shake and there were people staring at me like "holy **** that thing is about to blow up".

Does anyone have any ideas on what would cause this?

Thanks in advance guys.

Did it overheat on the drive and you may not have noticed? Mine has done that on the trails and when i turned it off and then started it again it went away after it cooled

Can you clarify what is shaking?

Is it in the steering wheel?

Or is the motor running rough and its causing the Jeep to shake and vibrate?

Does it only do it under the circumstances you mentioned?

Yes it only does it under those circumstances.

Its not in the steering wheel. My guess is that it is coming from the motor running rough. The RPMs stay stationary when the shaking occurs though, so I am a little confused as to what it could be

I've gotten some shakes while stopped at idle recently after start up. Nothing of your caliber though. Check your motor mounts and see if they are going bad. Even though you have an 06 it's still worth checking.
