I got very close in figuring out my drain, just need a little push...

I had a drain on the battery, so pulling all (yes all the fuses out PDC included) and the starter and alternator wires off. I disconnect the neg battery line and hooked up a tester. The light was off until I put the f6 fuse (30a) in the PDC under the hood. Then the light came back on. So what could be causing this? This has tanken all day and I pretty much tore apart my jeep looking for this drain! Thanks

f6 goes to ASD relay and #4 injector.
f17 under hood lamp which will draw if you have the hood open with a lamp in it, left & right courtesy lamp, radio, instrument cluster, sound bar dome lamp.

I would say you a light switch staying on like the hood lamp since it's hard to see with the hood closed.

Well I unplugged the lamp under the hood and I have have any cursty lights in the jeep and still showing like it is grounded??? Weird

Any clue why ASD relay and #4 injector would be causing a short some where in the system. I replaced the ASD reply with my AC one and still something is causing a short

So no door lamps, under dash lamps, door switch?
No clue why the wiring diagram goes there, any change when you pull the ASD relay and just leave it out?

Ok, so I made sure there are no lamps in the all 3 places (sound bar, passenger and drivers side) closed all the doors, unplugged my stereo and still the f17 is going off???

I pulled the ASD relay and still is goes as well???

what you should be looking for is how much those fuses are drawing as some drianage is going to happen no matter what you do.

I missed one thing on the # 6 fuse, it also goes to the PCM and that will draw a certain amt of milliamps but it shouldn't drain the battery down.
#17 also goes to the data link port, I didn't figure that one mattered but if you have a code reader pluged in it might.

Is there any after market electrical stuff installed, if so check all of it.

As per your advice I went out and got a tester, and (not exactly sure if this is right) I put the meter on "DC mA" and with the negative cable off the battery I touched one end of the meter to the post and one to the cable. It read 0.01 And with the radio connected I get 0.03 Also, when I connect the light under the hood then it measures 9.97 (just doing as much testing as I can) So.... it sounds like it is fine and should not be a problem right?

So according to the site my drain is acceptable. Is that right? I guess then it must be the old battery I had in a few weeks ago?? Sorry to be a pest, Trying to do all I can by myself but somethings are just a little over me. Thanks
