How to tell what lift is on LJ
i purchased my 06 LJ with a skyjacker lift already installed. i am wanting to know exactly what i have under there. are there serial #'s or something i can see on the parts? how would i tell what i have?

Welcome. We are locals!

Easiest thing to do is take a whole bunch of photos of what you have. Try and frame:

Underbelly skidplate
Control arms (full shot and of the ends)
Front steering links from ground level between the tires

post them up and we will be glad you help you out.

Measure spring mount to spring mount.
Compare with stock.

And to make it easy on you, here are my stock measurements. From the center of the center cap to bottom of factory flare.

NMLJ, not to hi-jack.... but hey could you do me a favor.... i need a few reference numbers. what is the axle centerline of the front axle to the tub/fender seam. and the same for the rear. i lost these numbers someplace in the shop. actually, i think one of my techs threw out the page because he was too lazy to pick it up. any help would be appreciated.

no bodyin my neighborhood has an LJ :shhh:

I would, but that picture was from 3 years ago before I put my lift on. They are the only referance numbers I have. Sorry.
