How to tell if your soft top is aftermarket ?

We are trying to figure out how to tell the difference between a factory soft top and an aftermarket one like a bestop? Looking on the net for some clear windows, I keep seeing two different styles showing up. One has a piece of canvas that sticks up about 4 inches at the bottom center of the rear window and some don't have this. Is this the difference and which one is factory?

Thanks
Paul
