How to Reset the computer (Check engine light)?

Just installed a new TPS as my engine threw out the code (Thanks Autozone!)

How do I reset the computer to get rid of the light now?

Disconnect battery for about 5 mins.

That or plug the computer harness into a code reader and delete it with that.

I'd elect with the disconnecting of the battery.

So Back to autozone I go only to find out they don't actually reset trouble codes, only diagnose them....even after buying new parts there!

Anyway, I go outside, turn the jeep back on and low and behold, no more check engine light. Apparently it resets itself after two or three On-off cycles.
