How to remove axle for U-Joint replacement with SYE?

I'll post a couple dark pics to show my D/S. I think this rear U-joint is shot.
The pinion angle is way off so I'm planning on fixing it this week end. It's really off angle and I'm certain the joint is toast.

U-Joint Replacement - 1

According to Stu-offroad I remove 'straps' holding the D/S to the transfercase,
but I dont think I got them since I have a SYE. Any advise for how to change this joint?
(ie remove drive shaft, sorry i'm still new to all this)

One last question. Do you think with this aftermarket D/S that the U-joint parts will be the same as the stock Dana 30?

the tcase end of the shaft is bolted on. the heads are on the tcase side. if you look at the ujoint cap you can see the two halves that capture it and that will separate once you remove the bolts.

I don't see the bolts you are talking about.

I took your pic and circled the only bolt I could see. There is 4 total in a rectangle pattern, 1 in each corner. They are 8mm or 5/16 I believe.

Tah. Dah.. I see them now. I had to take another look and found them about the time you posted.

Did I just figure out what a strap is? I feel stupider than 5 mins. ago.

So those 4 bolts and the 4 bolts on the pinion end and it will drop right out?

Do you think I need to hit those bolts with PB Blaster?

One more question. On the replacement u joint:

1 of the 4 caps that hold the needle bearings has a hole in it. Do they go on the pinion end or more likely the Yoke?? I see there is a screw in with the clips that would be used to plug it. (has lube hole, but not regular zerk more like a micro grease hole on the bolt head) This is a Precision Universal Joint 280. How does that work?

Guess you can disregaurd the last few post. The 'micro zerk' or what ever it is must go in the pinion/diff mount end as the clips would get in the way on the D/S yoke. Guess I just had to think it though with the pictures and parts at hand. (can you tell it's my first time?)

it dosent matter where you put the cap with the zerk. there is one clip that is different than the other 3, and that clip goes on the cap with the zerk.

Well I reset the pinion angle but wasn't able to flip the shocks and there is a "sleeve" on the bushing lower end. I don't have new ones and didn't want to try and press them out to swap them. (just something else to do later)

Also replaced pinion end U-Joint. However, ONE OF THE STRAPS HOLDING THE U-JOINT IN PLACE HAD SOME REALLY BAD WEAR. CAN I GET REPLACEMENTS AT NAPA? OR IS THE A DEALERSHIP ITEM?
