How to plug hole for air locker in Rubi housing?

I was planning on just using a self tapping bolt, just got to find the right size. Any ideas from those that have used this housing for an axle swap and not used air lockers? Thanks.

Alan

If you are tearing the whole axle apart and can clean out shavings from the inside, I'd say thread the hold and then put a bolt in it. This way, if you ever add an air locker or other actuated locker, you can just pull the bolt and not worry about having weird threads in the housing.

If you are NEVER going to use a locker, jusst stick a self tapper in there and you should be fine (I'd still thread it though, IMO.)

If you know it's truly permanent, I would just use JB-Weld epoxy.

I did want to keep it available for the future, but it's tight area, a PITA and I've always wanted to use JB Welb. One step closer, thanks guys.

you could buy a vacuum cap at Autozone. Then its nothing permanent. If your worried about it coming off put a clamp on it.
