How much lift with stock track bars and bumpstops

I have looked through the faq and searched but can't find an exact answer for my question, its a simple one...........how much suspension lift can I do with stock trackbars and bumpstops and still be able to align it?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Well, stock bump stops do not affect your alignment at all. It simply limited the amount of flex you can have by "bottoming out" when you reach a certain point.

As for the track bars, i wouldn't go over 4 inches without going adjustable. And even at 4 inches, you should go adjustable in the front.

the questions you need to ask/search for is how high can you go before you need a sye/transfer case lift/etc, and how big of tires can you have with what gearing/axles.

thoooooose are the questions.

trackbar extensions, adjustable trackbars, and bump stops are all easy fixes

Most people don't bother with adjustable track bars or brackets with 2" of lift or less. The axle should only shift about 1/2" or so.Add a BL if you need more room with out effecting the driveline or axles.Bumpstops need to be lengthened with any lift if you go offroad.

By 4" you will need adjustable. 2" you wont. Between those is probably a matter of preference, but could likely be solved with a relocation bracket.

I'll chime in with a 2" BB and a 1" BL.

But, you will need new shocks.

P.S. You might want to change your signature, family forum.
