How to fit 33's

I just got my 33X12.5 BFG KM2s delivered today. I want to add a lift that will keep my TJ driving similar to stock. Anyone out there driving with a RE 2'' BB with a 1 or 2 inch body lift??? How does it handle compared to stock?
I would like to keep the lift to 3-3.5 inches.
(I'm still waiting for my 15x8 Pro Comp wheels with 3.75 BS)

Go with the Rough country 2.5 BB lift kit or the Zone 3inch lift.

Nice looking Jeep. Which body lift did you go with? And was a pain in the a** to install?

I run a 2.5" coil lift with a 1" BL on 33's. Rides pretty good on and off road. If lifting more isn't in your future I would spend a bit more and get coils. You pretty much have to do the same work to fit a BB and you get a nice new set of coils as i'm guessing the ones you have are original from new, so probably due a replacement and it will ride much better.

Not sure if these are any good but they are cheap and give you an idea........

Mine are pro comp coils, they actually have a good rep for their coils and they are around 300 for a full set of 2.5" s.

I started with a 2" bb, the problem is old springs sage. Swapped in BDS springs $225 for all four, I researched allot of springs and went with BDS because of reputation and progressive spring rates. I also added a zone 1.25" BL and 1" MML. I had no vibes with the bb, but did when I added the BDS springs as I netted 3" of lift in the rear. The ride with the BDS springs and BDS shocks is great IMO, both on and off road.

BB 2 inch SL with a 1.25 BL is great for 33's

or go with a 3-4 inch coil from zone, RC, savvy, old man... what ever your budget is on a lift... 4 inches or under should be suffecient for 33's...

I've never heard of Zone lifts. Are these better quality compared to Rubicon Express lifts?
I went to their web-site and saw the 3" TJ Suspension System. Anyone have any experience with this lift?

Definitely...AEV, Currie, Old Man Emu, Savvy Off-Road, Clayton Off-Road to name a few.

FYI, 33's are fit in two common ways on TJ's:

1. 4" suspension lift, with ~2" bumpstop extensions in front and ~2-2.5" in the rear. Requires a SYE/CV shaft.
2. 2.5" suspension lift, with a 1.25" body lift, with ~1.25" bumpstop extensions in front and ~1.25-1.5" bumpstop extensions in the rear. The 1.25" BL usually accompanies a 1" Motor Mount Lift to offset some of the driveline angles.

Either way you go, figure on some or many of the following components: longer front brake lines, extended sway bar links front and rear, gears, brake and steering upgrades to accommodate larger tires, SYE, CV shaft, bumpstop extensions, new shocks, adjustable track bars, and a rear track bar bracket.

i'm runnning V8 ZJ springs up front for about 2.25" of lift and a 1.75" spacer out back with rusty's shocks that came with the BB. it rides nice and i really like the stance.

Thanks for all the pics and info. I'm torn between the Zone 1.25 body lift with 1.75" Coil Spring Spacer System. And the 3" TJ Suspension System. The price difference is only about 130 more for the for 3'' suspension lift. Which ride quality would be better? And any estimates what each would cost to install?
Again thanks everyone. I would like to get the lift on by May so I can have the tires ready for the summer.
