How far will my tires stick out?

I have 33x12.50x15 and 15x8 MT Classic locks gettin ready to be put on my Jeep. The backspacing is 3 5/16'' How far are they going to stick out from the stock flares? I do like the wide look, but I figured 15x10 would stick out ridiculously far, is that a fair assumption?

I'd guess about 3 inches outside the flairs? Just an educated guess though based off of my tires.

I have the 15x10s with 32x11.5s and mine stuck out about 4 inches from my sahara flares. I estimate the 15x8 with similar backspacing but slightly wider tire will stick out about 2.5 inches from a stock flare. A 6" flare should do you fine. Mine still sticks out about another inch farther from my 7" flare. It does have a very wide look'n stance. Doesn't look too bad, but hopefully it'll look better when I upgrade to 35s.

I am looking to get a set of RE 5.5" front coils. I'll trade my 4.5" or pay (not too much though) for them. Send me a PM.

I have 15x10s and 2.5" backspace....man it's wide! but I love it and wouldn't have it any other way.

the stability on and off-road is incredible.

got some pics in my gallery of the stance.

Does it matter how much they stick out? either way it is illegal. my 37x12.5x15 stick out about 4 past my stock rubicon fenders and i have never had any issues with the police, just have to put the stockers back on for inspection. even if you do have a problem with the cops they arent going to measure how far they stick out. but it does look better that way.

Apparently you never have lived in MN, here the State Troopers carry measuring tapes and plum bobs to measure if they hang out over the flares, if they do you get a ticket, but they only seem to do it to the guys that have a lot of lift and big tires, you keep in small around 33s and less than 2" of stick out they tend to leave you alone, unless you get one that is a real stickler for the rules. And just incase anyone wants to know they also carry decibel meters for exhaust, and tint meters for the windows. Trust me I know

Yea i live in MA and have heard about big trucks with big tires having problems but i have never had any problems with my tires other than inspection. The only time i was pulled over for my lift and tires was by a motorcycle cop in boston because he liked my jeep and wanted to know what what size tires and lift i had and what kind they were because he was planning on lifting his jeep soon.

It just means that you would have to do the Extended Fender Flare mod...
