How do You Replace Grease Sleeves?

So when I was really new to doing my own maintenance, I put too much grease into my steering components and it squirted out the seals. Today while rotating my tires, I noticed a pinhole prick in one sleeve at the tie rod that subsequently oozes grease out like a Playdoh Spaghetti factory. Adding insult to injury, it oozes out onto my brake rotor.

How do you replace these? Or is it enough of a PITA to have a shop do it?

The hardest part is removing the TR, but that's easily done with a hammer striking the hole where the TR passes through, don't even bother with a TR puller. For the OEM boot, it is secured by a metal ring. Just use a screwdriver or chisel and hit the ring upwards, striking while going around the ring. After a hit or two, the boot and ring should pop up and out. Installation is pretty much evident. Energy Suspension has great poly replacement sleeves.
