how do you remove the AC cannister?

I am not sure what this is called I think it is the evaporator. it is the aluminum tube next to the battery . there are clips on the joints, I removed the clips and pulled but it did not come off. does this just pull off with a little more force?

I'm not totally sure without looking at it, but I know first things first- make sure you evacuate the system of all the coolant. Don't just vent it out, take it somewhere and have it done. I'm trying to think of how to remove it, but I can't picture it without actually seeing it, so my advice ends there unfortunately.

It takes a special tool. Here is a link to a place that sells the item you need. You might be able to get them at a Jeep dealer cheaper.
