If it's going to be heavy, I fold the rear seatback down and rock both front seats forward, which minimizes water exposure. I put bestop "custom fit" vinyl seatcovers on the front seats. It's 100% better than wet cloth seats. |

Registered User Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Columbus Ga Posts: 104 | Mopar Cabcover ![]() I bought it on e-bay, new for $89.00. Came with a vinyl bag. Easy to put on, covers nice, even on half doors. Has tabs with straps that tuck in under the doors and straps around the mirrors and back tail lights. It's never ever blown up or came loose even in a strong wind/storm. I recommend pulling the top up or carrying some bungee's to bridge the bars over the seats (keeps it from sagging and collecting water if it rains) |

Registered User | I would really recommend just ponying up for the $100. Get a jeepcovers.com cover. Of all my "mods" this is still one of my favorite. Excellent craftmanship and use it all the time. __________________ The D35: 60% of the time, it breaks every time. '06 LJ (specs in profile, 35's, ARBs, rocket boosters, stealth technology, etc.) |

Registered User | yeah, I was wondering the same thing... here in maine, I never know when it's going to rain at night, so I don't dare leave my jeep stripped at night. And those stupid rear side and back windows are a beast to put in and out (I can't find an easy way to start the zippers). I'm thinking that one of these cap covers is going to be a purchase as soon as the jeep fund builds up a little bit again... __________________
If I was a mosquito, I would probably want to hang out in a Jeep too!!
nice! |

size and skill matter Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Louisville, KY Posts: 5,364 | BTW my cover from www.jeepcovers.com has been in a storm with 50+MPH winds and it was still dry in the morning... everyone made fun of me for putting it on and I made fun of them for driving on the trail with wet seats all day. __________________ Tyler BRIGHT SILVER METALLIC TJ Custom Streeeeeetched, Locked, and 36s.
