How bad is my Rust? *Pictures*

I bought my Jeep off Ebay from Pennsylvania back in January. Honestly, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

But anyway, tell me what you think? I want to take care of most of this crap, what products do you recommend? Keep in mind that I'm only 17 with a limited set of sockets, regular tools, and a couple jack stands.

Wire brush it, then coat it with POR15.

isn't that bad, especially if you got it from PA. Considering the winters they can have there and all the salt. Yeah just clean it off with a brush and a good layer of paint or por15. if its not a DD you can take it all apart and clean them to perfection. might take a couple weeks or months but it would be worth it in the long run.

Rust?! That's not rust. Up here in Michigan that would be considered a finish coat!

thats not bad at all... ive only had mine for a year and i can tell im from ny already. my other jeep was 10x worse than that, and thats all just surface rust anyway..doesnt look like theres and thin spots in the metal or any holes so i think your golden, if you worried about it use either por 15, but i think i would just go buy a few cans of rustoleum and just spray paint everything under there

Scrub it good with a wire-brush and sandpaper. Than hit it with some POR15, or if you want to be cheap - rustoleum rattle can paint.

mine was to the point it wasn't safe.. . like they said, clean it up with a wire brush and por15 or undercoat.
make sure you keep tabs on the control arm mounts to the frame, they rusted of on mine, i had 2 mounts holding my axle on. i now have a new frame because mine was beyond being worth fixing, just watch those and behind the shock mounts and you will be fine for your frame

Yup. Doesn't look bad at all. Of course I'm from NH and a frame has to have a LOT of rust on it to be "bad" around here lol
