Hood Louvers Anyone?

So I was stumbling through the quadratec website one day, until I ran into this.

http://www.quadratec.com/products/13106_6000.htm

I have to admit it comes in black and it looks pretty bad ***. The fact that you have to cut huge rectangles into your hood has to mean that it works at emitting heat right?

Opinions? Anyone had any experience with these?

Yesterday is gone, Tomorrow is yet to be, and Today is for wheelin.

The top and doors on this vehicle are designed only for protection against the elements. Do not rely on the top and doors to contain occupants within the vehicle or to protect against injury during an accident. Wear seatbelts at all times.
