You know what sucks about this post... IF YOU COULD HAVE SEARCHED FOR YOUR ANSWER, IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ASKED IN THE FIRST PLACE.. lol

not yelling at you, just the fact that since they stripped the search feature from the forums you now see all these duplicate posts pilling up.

Whats better being able to search or asking the same questions over and over and filling up the database..

my rant is done.. (Hoping it is only temporary like they say and not a forced push at a paid membership.. that would be lame)

although I plan on purchasing a membership as soon as the wife gives me access to the Credit card.. lol

I have been debating on whether or not to do hood louvers for a while. I want something that I can put a plate or something on the inside for the winter time to keep it a little warmer.

Just as a note to people, if you go to google, you can specify your search to any particular website. Go to advanced options and specify www.jeepforum.com, type in whatever words you want to search for and your results will be limited to this site.

Not to hijack the thread.

Here's a set for $20, or carbon fiber for $50.

Had a set on my XJ for 2 years without a problem. Served a major function. In the summer dropped about 10 degrees off engine temp. Worked for many others also. What is practical for one may not be practical for another.

When I looked at them, I thought people would buy them for the "look", sorry didn't know that you made them practical.

I'm currently making some hood vents for my jeep at work. I'm having a guy cut them out of aluminum on the laser. When I get them finished and put on the jeep I will post some pics.
