HITCH WIRING KIT TJ 98-06 Plug N Play

i purchased the Hidden Hitch T-One Hitch Wiring Kit for my 06 TJ from quadratec. problem is i cannot locate the T-Connector on the passenger side. i can see the wiring that drops down from the drivers side, travels over to the passenger side between the gas tank and body and then splits in two different directions. but i cannot locate any T- connectors. i thought this would be a simple inexpensive fix to my trailer lights, was i mistaken?

I thought you only needed to tap into the driver's side...I did mine probably 2 years ago so its a little fuzzy but I thought all the wires you need were on drivers side t connection. I have an 03 but think would be same.

It has been a few years since I sold my 2005, but if I remember correctly they changed the wiring in 2005. There should be 2 different wirings kits.

I bought one of those kits for the 98-04 TJ to put on my 06 LJ. The instructions said the connector went on the passenger side, but what I had didn't match. I found the connector in the drivers side, checked the wiring colors, and discovered that all Jeep did was move the connector to the other side. The kit works fine on the drivers side.

i will check again on the drivers side but all i saw was the wires come down through the grommet and go over to the passenger side with no t-connector.

I would look at mine for you, but there's currently about eight time zones between me and my Jeep.

Can you see all the wiring? Maybe mine's different since it's an LJ.

the passenger side. the wires going off to the right obviously go to the drivers side. the wires going up to a connector, but not a t-connector.

Have an 06 but got my wire kit from an online trailer place we used for work.

I'm pretty sure mine only connects on the pass side and then strings across to where you connect to trailer. I'll look after work.
