I finally got my brakes completely removed... what a job it was. Updated with pics.

Thankfully that was a joke in renaming this thread. The brakes are not and never were removed. The last page has some updated pics of progress for those that asked about them.

Thanks for all the real help.

The silver thing looks like the ABS motor and the black thing is your brake vacuum booster.

Why do you want to remove the heart and soul of your brake system? Pretty sure the Silver box would be a proportioning valve for your brakes. The big black thing is your vacuum booster....also for the brakes.

Call me crazy, but if you aren't able to identify the 'big black thing' or the 'smaller silver thing', you probably have no business taking them off.

that's precisely what I thought before I opened this...ABS module and brake booster. For the love of all things safe and secure....leave them alone. You can take the fenders off with them in place.

Those are just noise deadening devices.
Feel free to rip them out and chuck them in the trash.

Ok this thread was posted in relation to a mod I am doing. Why do you people have such a "know it all" opinion of things? If you don't know what I'm doing feel free to ask. If you don't want to ask then try shuting up.

There were a few people who wanted to know what I was having trouble removing from my fenders.

I want to remove the "heart and soul" of my brake system... simply to complete this mod (at which point it would go back in)

I want to take them off simply to help me accomplish what I am trying to accomplish, why would I have no business taking them off?
