Help - TJ won't start

Hello, I searched through the forum and didn't see anything addressing my issue, so I am hoping someone could help. My TJ won't start ('02, manual, 4.0L). The key turns, the dash lights up, the A/C kicks on, but no joy under the hood. I have swapped out the starter, tested the battery, tested the starter relay, and even tried jumping it for the fun of it. Still nothing.

Background - I've had the Jeep for ~2 months; this started happening a week and a half ago, but it eventually started. Has been going downhill this week and now no matter how many times I try it still won't start.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Brett

The clutch safety switch is probably shot. It's on the clutch push rod under the dash, the plastic cylinder with two wires. You can clip the wires and butt connect the live ends together or install a momentary switch if you want to keep the safety cut-off working.

There may also be a fuse behind the glove box that you can pull to disable it, but I'm not sure about that, much less which fuse it would be. Just think I remember someone else mentioning it in another thread.
