help with smittybilt front bumper.

I just purchased a rock crusher front bumper with D rings. When I installed it today the bumper only uses the front hole on the frame to mount it to. It leaves an inch and a half gap between the bumper and the plastic shroud that has the jeep logo on it. It looks tacky and unfinished. Am I doing something wrong or is there a purpose for the gap? thanks

Thanks, I think the winch plate would cover it up but that would be another $85. I am now close to $250 and could have had a better looking bumper. I am getting tired of trying to buy on a budget and not being happy with the product.

Get used to it, cheap stuff is harder to work with.
