help me build my jeep

ok, so before I get started heres my deal...

I drive a 1997 Jeep wrangler sahara 5sp. D30/D35 3.55 gears 31X10.50R15

Dec. 7th i was hit head on by a drunk driver in a 70,000 dollar Lexus head on.
(torn some tendons in my right knee, so im waiting for them to heal up)

not alot of damage done to the jeep but all of it was fixed, everything but my hardtop (they said if they had to fix it it would have totaled my jeep)

So my question is since I'm Suing (sp?) her , I'll soon have the money to lift and lock my jeep.

is there anything I should be weary of after it being in the accident?

How would you guys build My jeep if it was yours?

Thanks guys,

John

sue her enough to get a new jeep and fix the old one too... Drunks deserve to have everything that can be taken from them, taken. call it emotional scarring b/c she wrecked you and your baby

if you cant get enough for a new one, at least get enough for a newer used one like say a rubicon. they come from the factory with a lot of toys already installed. if it's gonna be your daily driver, keep gas mileage in mind and mod accordingly. if it were mine, i'd get about a 3-4" lift, a highline kit, and some 35's for starters. throw a sweet bumper on it with winch, and a ton of lights(I like lights). Throw on some nice lookin wheels, not too flashy though, and you're set. this is just my opinion. if you dont like it, look through some magazines and look for jeeps you like and mods you want.

no offense to your current rig, but since the opportunity is knocking, invite them in and get 'em a drink...

Take her for all she's worth, drunk drivers need to learn the hard way...Almost lost both of my grandparents to a drunk driver...the drunk side-swiped their Lincoln (totaling it in the process) and collided head-on with the car behind them, killing 3 teenagers. He is now behind bars for vehicular manslaughter.

.20 holy crap!!! thats beyond drunk, she was in a drunk coma....its .08 here in Oklahoma, and with what she had they would have taken her to jail and everything would be hell for her, they've made DUI's a felony in Oklahoma now, though they do have a first offenders option too, but i'm sure they still get it stuck to 'em.

good luck on the lawsuit, just be glad you're ok, especially since it seems like everytime a drunk driver hits someone, the person they hit dies and they seem to be almost perfectly fine.
