Headlight Aiming
Hey guys. Long time, no post. At any rate, I'm having some trouble aiming my headlights. I followed the instructions in my Haynes manual, measured things, used tape, etc., but what I'm left with just doesn't seem right. Initially, the lights looked too low, so I remeasured and tried again. Now, I light up the treetops.
Thing is, I'd like to get the lights at least sorta aimed right because I'll be driving from New York to Boston on Sunday night during which it's supposed to rain. Anyone have a quick and dirty way of at least getting the lights aimed in the right general direction?

You want quick and Dirty...It's dark out, keep adjusting till you like where they are. Keep in mind that the passenger side is more straight and the drivers should be aimed toward the center kind of like this / |
Another thing to keep in mind, the headlight buckets don't like to move, you may have better luck pushing the bulb and bezel as you screw in/out the adjuster.

Here's a good link on how to properly aim your headlights. Using this proceedure, I aimed my very bright e-code lights and have yet to get "flashed" by oncoming traffic.
