Headlight aim

Hello. I recently added new larger tires to my Jeep, and with the addition of Sylvania Silverstars to help see I now more than ever need to aim my headlights correctly, back to stock height. I notice there are two diagnol hex-screws in the headlamp housing which I assume are for aiming. By the hex head and lack of info, its obvious Chrysler wants Jeep owners to bring their vehicles to the dealer for aiming. I was going to adjust these screws to see what I could do until noticing their diagonal placement. This lead me to believe they not only adjust the vertical position of the lamps, but also the horizontal. So now I am wondering how to adjust the vertical aim without misaligning them left or right... basically how do I aim them on a TJ? To my suprise, no information seems to be readily available on the Internet for this! Thanks in advance..

This thread talks about adjusting them. You can also install a smoke maching and oil sprayer ala James Bond to deal with those Ricers!

hey TroyBoyM - do you know how much lift is required for mounting
a .50cal under my kilby skid plate?

Forget the .50 cal go with the MK 19 Fully Automatic 40mm Grenade Launcher. It can shoot a grenade up to 2212 Meters. The only drawback is it weights around 75 pounds, but your girlfriend, wife or etc. weight at least that. Just my 2 cents.

Thats a good idea for those tailgaters! I think I'll mount a KCDaylighter lightbar to the rear bumper, then turn it on every time they come within 5 feet! Its always within 5 feet too if they're tailgating! Of course, a mixture of gasoline & oil released from an auxillary tank out the back of the Jeep would keep them at bay, then drill a spark plug into the exhaust & wire it up to a switch. Whenever they come within range, hit the panic button! lol. Nothing else seems to work, but I bet that would

That single exhaust flame thrower is just too cool. To bad it's so expensive. And yes I do think we went off the subject just a weeeee bit.

Oh, I forgot one of the required steps when adjusting the lights. While you have the bezels off, get out your trusty rattle can of black Rustoleum and lose the chrome!!

Ok my lights vary slightly from the description. They look like this:

............*

*..........*

Each star representing screws around the driver's light. The two on the right are on the outer edge of the headlight, and the bottom left is of course the inside edge. So can I assume the bottom left adjusts vertical aim only? Seems like odd placement for that..

A serious question about my Jeep

My horn seems to have gone out. It now chirps like a bird rather than the classic Jeep sound I like. Anyone familiar with this?

Chirp, Chirp

sounds like it's not grounded properly...not enough AMPERAGE. or the horn itself...the way things have been going for you lately I'm surprised you can even get it to beep at all I should talk, I am having new LCA mounts welded on next week!
