I like my KC replacements. Much brighter than stock, especially the high-beams. I think they take a standard H4 Halogen bulb. And you don't have to mess with HID wiring, etc. they just plug into the stock wiring harness.

I went with Cibie housing and 80/100 Bulbs with a harness Love them. Daniel's website also explains the difference of HID vs. Halogens etc in relation to blinding on coming traffic etc.

I made a new headlight harness, so now the bulbs get what ever the battery has. I did have a 2 volt drop. Made a huge difference.

Im running a cheap H4 conversion from a local shop (they are DOT; but not sure of the brand; they were $30), and I am running Nighthawk platinum bulbs. HUGE difference from stock; and Ive tried a few different bulbs. Sylvania, eurolites, etc, but they all pail in comparison to the nighthawks. I got my dad a set when they were half off too; and the best thing is the warranty. They only last about a year, but the warranty is good for a year; so you can just get a new set every year, essentially.
