Hardtop season

Hello everyone,
I hate too point this out but since the last weekend of August just passed us bye some of us in the North East are going to be putitng our hardtops on soon, I was just curious what some of your thoughts are on installing flip up sunroofs in your hardtop?
Im sure some of you have done this it cant be very expensive? Curious if they leak or lessen the strenght of the original roof, or any other problems that may occur that I may have left out...

Thanks in advance

Driving around in the fall crisp air makes me nippy...
I like the idea of putting a sunroof in there, could probably do it myself too... Although it got me thinking has anyone put a T-top in the hardtop, that might be even cooler!!!

Thanks for the reply...

Ha! The Ttop I couldnt do but imagine how cool it would be especially if you had some kind of platic glass too do it properly... But anyways...
Triple digits, wooof, too hot for me, my sister lives in Scottsdale Az I cant even visit her in the summer anymore its too crazy there in the summer months.
Planning on driving down there this year from Montreal for 2 weeks then drive back up too canada thru Alberta or something... A nice long road trip in the TJ...
I can get a sunroof installed here for $120.00 some shope quoted me..

It's getting down in the lower 50's here at night. Makes it a bit cool to have the top down in the morning or late at night. I'm too lazy to put it down just for the ride home and then back up again, so yeah, the hard top is going back on soon.

Hey!
A local? Grew up in Arlington, myself. Live in Medford now. looks like we'll have a wet
ride home tonight. No doors or windows...just damp neoprene and towels!

Hard top already??...Why did you take it off if your just going to put it right back on. When it starts getting below 60 for a daily high then I'll put it on. usaully around the middle of November to turkey day I would say like Rocky529 is about average...

Aha! I think I may know you. Is the owner of Dad's YJ named Sal per chance?
