hard top wiring

hey everyone,

i have a 2006 tj sport. i have a hardtop that was on a 97 tj. the wiring harness connectors are different at the back of the vehicle. i've done some looking on the internet and can't find anything. I am probably googling the wrong phrase but i can't get it to work.

help anyone?

Starting at post 419 in the thread linked below you'll find wiring diagrams for both early and late connectors, and read ahead in that thread a page or so and you'll find out where you can get the right connectors inexpensively. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f9/sa...roject-952157/

this does help, but about a year ago i found one online that was just a converter and it just plugged into both pieces. i didn't know if anyone had seen anything like this.

Yes jeepsareus.com used to carry the adaptor but they have changed the site around and I can't find it. I'd call them
