My TJ currently is stock 215 75 r15 tires with 15x7 inch wheels. I just ordered 15x8 inch wheels and 31x10.50x15 BFGoodrich A/T KO tires. When installed will this give me any extra ground clearance?

Yes. By putting on larger tires, you are bringing your axle (and the rest of the vehicle) up half the increase in tire size.

So, if you go from a 30" tire to a 33" tire, you're going to gain an inch and a half ground clearence.

215's have about a 27.8" diameter and 31's are about a 30.5" diameter.

You will see a major change going to 31's from 215's. You should gain about 1.5-1.75" of ground clearance.

Yea it will give you alittle more ground clearance here is a pic of mine with 31s stock with 31s
