Based on his symptoms of grinding it's a clutch problem.
I'm fully aware the AX doesn't have a reverse synchro. It's not necessary since you do not need to shift into reverse while rolling.
Grinding going into Reverse occurs when the clutch doesn't fully disengage.
If the clutch properly disengages the tranny input shaft will stop spinning.
Once it stops there will be NO grind. Period.
well... as long as it isnt the tranny than im good. Thanks alot guys
