Grill inserts

Looking for some feedback on these inserts, anybody tried them?

I'm curious to know if they fit tight, no rattles, and are they worth it? My radiator has picked up it's share of dings and it seems like these would add some protection. They also sell black billet encased in plastic for $100 which might be a better (more durable) choice?

Water gets stuck behind those things and they rust. When I got bought my 98 TJ they guy had installed chrome inserts 3 weeks before I bought it. I took them off the night I got the Jeep, and there was surface rust. Grill will be herculined anyway
