Why wouldn't I work on one to make it better? I have nothing at all against aluminum links other than the jam nut issue.

So, what happened to the pics? I'm interested to see what familiar Jeeps are looking like nowadays.

That is the easy part...shorten up the links and weld on new frame brackets.

Geez...give it a rest already. Pix will be coming... this work doesn't just magically pop out of the air and find its way onto the rig.

How long are the arms going to be? An Approx would do, like 16-20"? or 20-25"?

When do Short-Arms become Mid-Arms and Mid-Arms become Long-Arms?
These names all sound like marketing gimmicks... With Mid-Arm being 'the new thing'.
Custom suspension is 'custom suspension' regardless of the length of the control arms.

I'm currently building for 40-44" tires with 30-35" lowers.

We got the lowers mocked up on one side today, they turned out to be 27.5" and all three will be that length.

Yeah well, you need to get out more. We've been running around 25" arms on our custom builds since at least 01. As far as marketing gimmicks go, wouldn't something first have to be for sale?

We only started using the term "mid arm" because the length landed midway between the factory length of about 16" and the RE long arm length of around 38". If you take 16, add 10 and then another 10, it kinda lands in the middle of the two lengths, so what would you suggest we refer to them as? They aren't short arms and they aren't long arms.

Yeah, whatever.

I built many times for 40's with 28" arms.
