Getting a Supertop for X Mas
Okay guys, here goes. I am getting a Supertop for Christmas for my TJ, and I have the full doors and so am ordering the one that comes without doors or uppers. Do I need anything else besides what is included? Door surrounds maybe? Its a '98 SE. Bestop says it includes everything needed. but I thought surrounds were also needed?

Thanks, thats what I wanted to hear, as $200 or so more to shell out was not in the plans.

It is a good top: I have one on for a year now and like it. In retrospect, I would buy a factory top as its a bit easier to put down. But Supertop is a great top.

I just bought a brand new supertop (diamond khaki) and i wish i would have waited...i just saw this top first....
also if you have a hard top now, you will need surrounds, if you have a soft top you can use your old ones.

I put a supertop on this summer. So far it's done really well. I like the how the factory top folds down better but for less than half the price, the supertop was a great buy. I got the tinted windows which I would recommend to anyone considering them. I also got the Bestop safari top that uses the same header as the supertop so it's really easy to switch between them.

Oh, and NO, you DO NOT need the door surrounds. The doors just shut tight against the top hardware.
