Gears swap problems

Heres my problem. I bought some gears and a carrier off of a guy from here. He claimed they would fit a 97 tj with the D35c rear axle. Well the carrier and gears fit great but the spider gears in the carrier are not for a c- clip axle. There is no groove in them for the c-clip to sit. I tried switching the spiders in the non c-clip carrier for my old spiders in my old carrier but the dimensions are different. I dont really know what kind of a jeep this came out of so I dont know what vehicle to order spiders for. If anyone knows about jeep axles and can shed some light I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Or if you have a carrrier from a d35c for gear ratios 4.10 or lower(numaricaly higher) that you wana sell. let me know. This thing is up on a lift in a guys garage as we speak so things are alittle rushed.
