Has anyone figured out how to remove the blue-ish film from the HVAC controls...for those who dont know what i am talking about, when you put a white bulb in the HVAC it lights up blue

And also, any ideas how to change the bulbs in the original head-unit?

the film is a glued on thing, so if you can scrap it off you can have it off, by why would you?

i think tho if you do peal it off it takes off the other colors for the heat, like red and what not, at least its like that on mine, so you would have to scrape off patches... idk, hey if ya do it post a pic so we can see

IF i do it, i definitely will although i will be totally honest, dont think that it'll happen cause i ende dup taking all the bulbs out and putting the stock ones in.

With white bulbs, my cluster was crystal nice and white, hvac was blue and the radio green, it was like a damn circus

In the cluster itself is where the miles are stored. Try to find a cluster with similar miles if you can!

Chris. I miss driving my Jeep. Can't wait to get into another one.

well depending on what state you're in, will depend on if they will care or not..

It is not the emmisions people, it is the title bureau people. They care.

If you do go to a shop thats registered with chrysler, or to a dealer, they are able to look into your milage history and find that you have gained 5k miles out of thin air, but that is possible to do....

They usually only look for milage discrepancies if it looks unusually low

Clicked on your OP link for the bulbs and ordered them, $17 after shipping and had them in my hands three days later. Took me about 15 minutes to disassemble the dash and install the lights. They look great!!! thanks for the help. One note that I did have to deal with is that I had two lights that did not make good contact initially and I had to take them back out and twist them back in. Presto!!!! BLUE LIGHTS....
