They're not THAT far off but they're definitely not the same.

I'm going to rice out my courtesy lights under the dash next, and I'm trying to decide whether or not I want to rice out my dome light or if I want to make it more functional. Haha!

Just got mine installed today...pics to follow. I was able to switch out the 5 illlumination lights along with the hvac (slide type). I bought 7 EA of the 74 tri leds from superbrightleds.com. Very fast shipping and a good price ($28.xx shipped), got it in 2 days. every led worked also.

btw, the pictures don't do these justice. they are very even and red across the board. Although not killer bright, i like them because I have some pretty bad night driving vision.

While taking a look at the hvac, I noticed that the "cover" is glued to the plastic face. I peeled it off and noticed there is a green(?, I'm colorblind) over each of the symbols. I remember hearing that the hvac controls come out crappy because of this. So I ended up scraping away the green. Reglued the cover to the face and reinstalled slide covers. It worked! Although not the best detail, the red really shines through the symbols (even though it's hard to tell in the above pic)! I also plan on going back over it to remove the blue(?) over the cool part of heat slider.

So Sorry

Ok I apologize for asking, bc im sure you all have heard the same question over and over, I read this thread twice and I start to understand which ones I need then we start talking about 2 diff websites, 3 diff speedometers, and 2 diff kinds of LEDs, then one switch to single then triple...

So to summarize can someone give me a quick list of what LEDs for a 97 TJ which are the brightest ones? (being asian, my eyes are squinty enough so more the better)

Jeep Type/Year:
#/type LEDs for Gauge Cluster
#/type LEDs for HVAC
site: (if possible)

Thanks Guys I appreciate it, I stayed up late finishing up 2 essays so Im going to cash in my blonde moment card.
