Type 74 and for hvac- 2 different models, ones a slider(I think neo 5mm) and ones a rotary (neo 4mm). For switches- neo 4mm. As for the shifter I can remember off hand the bulb but there is a cross reference on superbrightleds.com

Cajun,
OUT!
Ok good cause I got the 5mm with the screw looking base and I wanted to make sure there right, thanks alot. Someone said that you can change the OD light color but what about the blinker and shift light? Is the shift light attached to the oil gauge light? Or are they separate? And has anyone done the led for the reverse light and if so do you need anything besides the led light and if possible post the link to the led reverse light that would work with a 98 tj, thanks

Just put them in, did the shift light too, the hvac was a pain but the rest was easy, positioning the bulbs so there was no dead spots took time but there not to bright and they look wonderful

USPS website finally says they're out for delivery. Waiting anxiously for a reason to stop with my bathroom remodel.. I've been peeling off painted wallpaper all day, and it's an unbelievable pain in my ***.

Got them installed... Didn't take long, but of course I ran into the issue of the polarity being wrong on a couple of them so I had to flip them. Very easy install!

I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the (74-BHP) blue though. There's something off about the shade of them that I'm not sure if I like, but overall it looks much better than stock. I might change those to red.

A lot of us have changed the shift light including myself.

Did you buy the right bulb? Did you try turning it around? Are you sure it's plugged in good?

Positive, I tried the same bulbs as the other gauges and when it didn't work I tried one from the h ac controls

in mine it's a different bulb from all of the rest. When I get home I'll tell you what kind it was
